San Angelo Internet Outage Persists, Partial Phone Restoration

SAN ANGELO, TX - The City of San Angelo continues to grapple with an internet outage that began on the night of March 11, impacting various municipal services.

In an update provided on March 13, city officials confirmed that internet services remain down as the Information Technology team works to restore full functionality. Many phone lines have been brought back online, although some remain affected.

Utility payments can proceed online without interruption. For in-person transactions, customers must provide their account number, and credit cards are not accepted at most locations during this period. However, the Municipal Court is an exception, accepting credit card payments both online and in person.

"We’re working to resolve this as quickly as possible and thank citizens for their continued patience," information from the city stated.
