A five-time NFR qualifier in barrel racing moved into the money at the San Angelo Rodeo on Saturday, while an up-and-coming cowboy is now in the top five in bull riding and bareback riding.
Hawley's Megan Powell had the top time in the second round of breakaway roping Friday, while Mineral Wells' Noah Lee moved into second place in bull riding.
The field for the San Angelo Rodeo finals is set after Thursday's performance at CRC Roofers Coliseum, which was highlighted by an 87.5 ride from Zac Dallas in saddle bronc.
