He drove in three runs while scoring two himself as the Hawks went on to win big.

Reid Ballard delivered another impressive performance on the mound in this matchup. He pitched five innings, allowing only a single hit and no runs. He also struck out eight while walking three.

An early surge powered the Lady Hawks over Merkel in a revenge game on Tuesday night. After losing to the Lady Badgers 13-3 at home last Friday, Wall delivered an excellent performance on the road to win that district game back.

Elise Jordan and Jai Kleman drove in all six runs for the Lady Hawks to secure the victory.

Wall took the lead in the top of the first inning when Jordan hit a sacrifice fly to center that scored Shyanne Floyd. Later in the top of the second, Jordan hit a single to right field that scored two before Kleman doubled to score two more.

Up 5-3 in the fourth, Wall would add one more insurance run to secure the victory when Kleman hit another double.

Defensively, Madee Williams had a much better performance inside the circle than her previous outing against Merkel. She pitched the full seven innings, allowing eight hits and three runs. She added one strikeout and one walk.

Next up, the No. 15 Lady Hawks travel to Clyde on Thursday to take on the No. 1 Lady Bulldogs.
