1 Taken to Hospital After Crash Shuts Down Harris Avenue

SAN ANGELO, TX — One person was taken to the hospital Friday after a crash closed Harris Avenue between Abe and Koenigheim streets.

The crash occurred about 1:30 p.m. when a driver turning from Abe onto Harris turned “way too sharp,” according to a traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department, and crashed head-on into a vehicle.

One person was transported by ambulance to Shannon Medical Center.

The crash shut down all traffic on Harris and required vehicles to be redirected through parking lots.
