SAN ANGELO, TX — A two-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon in front of Goodfellow Air Force Base has reduced outbound traffic to one lane.

The crash occurred about 1:30 p.m. near the south gate entrance at Kearney Boulevard and Chadbourne Street.

According to a traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department, a grey Honda HR-V turning left into the base failed to yield the right of way and collided with a grey Dodge Charger traveling westbound on Chadbourne.

Both vehicles had a single occupant, and the driver of the HR-V was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
