Driver Crashes on Sherwood Way Overpass

SAN ANGELO, TX — A driver suffering from a medical episode triggered a crash on the Sherwood Way overpass.

It happened around 10 a.m. Monday, blocking one westbound lane of Loop 306. This prompted a response from police, fire, and medical crews. 

According to emergency dispatch audio, the crash occurred after the driver suffered from a medical episode. The driver was conscious by the time authorities arrived and requested medical attention. 

No serious injuries were reported.
