Angelo State Rams, Rambelles Ranked Nationally in First Outdoor Polls

NEW ORLEANS, LA — Angelo State’s track and field programs are ranked among the top five nationally in the USTFCCCA outdoor rankings.

The Rams are ranked No. 2 in the nation, while the Rambelles are No. 5 in the first set of rankings released this season.

The rankings follow a dominant performance at the 54th David Noble Relays, where both programs captured team titles.

Through three outdoor meets, Angelo State athletes have combined for 28 provisional qualifying marks.

The Rams and Rambelles will continue their outdoor season this week at the 98th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, hosted by the University of Texas.
