SAN ANGELO, TX — Sign-ups are now open for the 2026 Kids Championship Cook-Off at the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo, with limited spots available for young cooks ages 6 to 18.
The event is set for Saturday, April 4, at the Spur Arena. Registration closes March 20 or when the 50-kid capacity is reached, whichever comes first. A $25 fee per contestant is required, with no refunds or cancellations.
Contestants will be divided into two age-based divisions after registration ends. Each participant must include one responsible adult assistant, age 18 or older, for safety and oversight. Only one adult per child is allowed.
Prizes include a banner and buckle for first place in both divisions, banners for second through fifth places, and cash for showmanship.
Entry forms can be mailed to 200 West 43rd St., San Angelo, TX 76903, or emailed to [email protected]. Payments are accepted by check made payable to SASSRA or by credit card with a 3% convenience fee; call 325-653-7785 to pay.
