BREAKING: Law Enforcement Searching for Suspect After Northside Pursuit

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A manhunt is underway for a suspect that led law enforcement on a vehicle pursuit through the north side.

Around 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, radio reports indicated that a police chase was going on around 29th Street in San Angelo. The chase zig-zagged through the northside area before the suspect’s white Volkswagen was discovered abandoned near 17th Street.

Law enforcement, including the San Angelo Police Department, Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office and Department of Public Safety, are looking for the suspect. A drone is in the air and a perimeter has been set up. Police are actively searching alleyways in the area.
